Kotoko sign 13 new players

Kotoko have confirmed that they have signed 13 new players for the the start of the weekend's start of the new Premier League season.

The giants have revealed that a huge number of players will be sacked by the end of the first round of the competition. That is because the management of the club is keen to reduced the huge number of players on its payroll.

Kotoko currently have 48 players on their list and that will be prunned down to 35 by the end of the first round. The club biggest catch is the signing of former Russian based striker Baffour Gyan who has signed a two-year deal.

Other new players of the club are Isaac Owusu who joins from Wa All Stars while was Iddrisu Yahaya was signed from city rivals Kessben. King Faisal's Samad Oppong and St. Mirren's Frank Boateng are also Kotoko's other big off-season signings.

Kotoko are seeking to wrestle the league title from arch rivals Hearts of Oak who have also boosted their squad for the new season.
