Kessben FC are considering a move for David Duncan after the Ghanaian quit Free State Stars, only taking charge of one competitive game, KickOffGhana.com understands.
Duncan is in Ghana after his South African experience ended abruptly but could be thrown straight back into the Ghanaian game with Kessben looking for a coach themselves.
KickOffGhana.com understands from sources close to the Abrankesie club that they will make an offer to the former national U-17 coach ahead of the new Ghanaian season.
Kessben parted ways with Dutchman Hans Van der Plyum and have since not replaced him.
The club pulled the plugs on an attempt to sign Oti Akenteng from Heart of Lions over worries that the coach’s commitment with the national women’s U-17 side, due to participate in the World Cup in New Zealand, will affect his contribution at Abrankesie.
Duncan has insisted he has no interest in coaching one of the big two clubs in Ghana (Hearts and Kotoko).
Kessben are hoping that the small upwardly mobile reputation of their club will lure him back to the Ashanti Region after his spell with AshantiGold earlier.
