Wa All Stars picked up their first away win of the season at the Tema Park where they cruised to a 3-0 win over Tema Youth.

The win sees the Blues jump to sixth place on the table for now as King Faisal do not play until midweek.

Two first half goals seemed to have settled the tie for the premiership debutants after Issa Taliu had put them in the lead in the 31st minute before January signing, Habib Mohammed made it 2-0 seven minutes later.

The Blues upped the scoring in the second half as substitute, Hamidan Mohammed scored to claim all three points for the Wa-based team in the 69th minute.

Liberty Professionals brushed aside Great Olympics as they kept the pressure on leaders, Asante Kotoko – who have two games to spare – with a 3-1 win over the bottom-placed side.

The defeat ends the two-game winning run by the Wonder Boys. Kofi Nti Boakye put Liberty in the lead when he scored in the 34th minute.

The Wonder Boys drew level through Zakaria Ahmed but in the second half, Ashmond Asamoah and Yaw Antwi scored to make sure the Accra-based recorded their tenth defeat of their campaign at the Carl Reindorff Park.

At the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra Hearts of Oak, smarting from their midweek loss overcame Zaytuna FC 1-0.

A second half freekick curled in by Bernard Dong Bortey separated both sides as the Phobians continued with their dismal season with a win which eased the pressure on Israeli coach, Eyal Lachman.

Gamba All Blacks claimed the spoils at the Swedru Park where they rallied back from a goal down to beat Sekondi Hasaacas 2-1.

Frederick Quayeson, scored in 37th minute to put the away side in the lead. But in the second half, Obed Owusu leveled up for the Black Magicians before Rashid Avevor stabbed in the match winner.

Goals from Edmund Owusu-Peprah and Baba Iddi ensured that Kessben FC further deepened Real Sportive’s battle with relegation at the Anane Boateng Stadium.

The Golden City Park witnessed a victory for the home side as Berekum Arsenals run away with a 1-0 win over Real Tamale United. A second half penalty converted by Francis Aggrey helped the Gunners maintain their place among the top four.
