French side, Rennes have been linked to the signature of Ghana striker, Asamoah Gyan.
Rennes have been reported as lining up a move for the Udinese player.
The French side's chief, Pierre Deossi is set to meet with Udinese officials on Wednesday to discuss the Ghana international.
Udinese are seeking £6 million for Asamoah who has been out of the Ghana senior team, the Black Stars, because of an injury he picked during the 2008 African Nations Cup.
Gyan is however expected to return for the new season.
