Samuel Inkoom has reverted back to the national U-20 side after spending much of the week training with the Black Stars.

The Asante Kotoko right back was due to play a part in Ghana’s World Cup qualifier on Saturday but will now travel with the Black Satellites for their African Youth Championships qualifier against Gambia in Banjul on Sunday.

Ghana takes a 2-1 advantage into that game and Sellas Tetteh is keen to call up on all his best players for the tie.

Inkoom told KickOffGhana.com he had no qualms about reverting back to the U-20.

“It’s the decision of the coaches but for me it’s no big deal. I played in the first leg of the U-20 game and even though I have been with the Black Stars this week, they decided I will be more useful with the U-20s.

“Hopefully the experience I have gathered here will be invaluable to the Satellites.”
