The Chief Executive Officer of Brong Ahafo United Football Club, Mr. Charles Kwadwo Ntim has appealed to the Division One League Board of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to re-schedule the commencement of the league from Wednesday, August 6 to Sunday, August 10.

Mr. Ntim told GNA Sports in Sunyani that the rescheduling of the League would enable the GFA and the Clubs to address some irregularities that the League encountered in the season.

He explained that the Division One League Board postponed B.A. United's match scheduled for Sunday, August 3 to Wednesday, August 6 because it had to offer seven days for publication of the participating Clubs and another seven days for the Clubs' certification.

"Meanwhile the names of some of the participating Clubs have not been published and starting the matches on Wednesday, August 6 might give enough room for the other clubs to protest against the GFA", Mr. Ntim noted.

The Chief Executive Officer cited the GFA's rule for the replay of the match between Bechem Chelsea and Kintampo United, which was still outstanding and said if all these irregularities were not resolved "some of the Clubs would be forced to drag the GFA to court".
