Ghana Coach Kwasi Appiah has handed debut call ups to four players for next weekend’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sudan in Kumasi.

Top on the list of debutants is Arsenal midfielder, Emmanuel Frimpong, on loan at Fulham, left-back Baba Abdul Rahman of German side Greuther Furth, Hearts of Oak leading marksman Mahatma Otoo and relatively unknown striker David Accan, a product of the Right to Dream Academy and now on the books of Swedish side, Helsinborg.

AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari makes a return whilst 17 members of the Black Stars at last months Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa maintained their places in the 24-man squad for the must-win clash with the Desert Hawks.

As expected, there were no places for the Ayew brothers, Andre and Jordan, who have asked to be excused for the game.

The Group D encounter will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, March 24.
