Herbert Addo insists he is the right man for the Black Stars job as he prepares to face the eight-man interview next week.

The Aduana Stars coach who is the only local man in the frame for the job goes up against former Partizan Belgrade coach Goran Stevanovic, World Cup winner Marcel Desailly and former Tunisia and Morocco coach Humberto Cuelho.

But Addo who took Aduana Stars to the League title in their first season in the top flight and is now in charge of the home based Black Stars preparing for next year's Championships of African Nations feels he is the best man for the job.

Addo claims what he has been able to do with Aduana Stars with less gifted players is evidence that with more talented players at the national team level he can achieve even more.

He says: "I am ready for it. It won't be difficult because the players are world class. I have been doing it for long so I have no doubt I can do it. Hopefully I will get to do it."
