Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is delighted with the return to form and fitness of some of his key players after a long period in the treatment room for many of them.
John Mensah completed 90 minutes on the bounce for only the first time since joining Lyon in the summer while Sulley Muntari hit his second match winning goal for Inter Milan in the Serie A against Napoli.
And Asamoah Gyan is back on the training pitch after the start of his Rennes career was ravaged by injury.
Laryea Kingston meanwhile recovered from a month out on the sidelines to help his side Hearts beat Rangers in Scotland.
Rajevac has been keeping the tabs on the players and their progress and says things are getting better from his perspective as Ghana coach.
"Muntari scored against Juventus in addition to the Napoli one, John Mensah is back playing again and Asamoah Gyan is gaining fitness," he said.
"I am really happy with that especially as some of the players recovering will be fit and available for the opening game of the next qualifier against Benin."
The Serbian has struggled to have full strength sides since he took over as Ghana coach but now has only Michael Essien out.
