Asante Kotoko has threatened to withdraw their participation from this year’s GHALCA Top 4 tournament if their appearance fee is not increased.

The league champions are complaining of the meager US $15,000 appearance fee and will officially write to the organizers, Ghana League Clubs Association of their intension.

Kotoko also claim the tournaments title sponsors, Globacom, are competitors to their sponsor, TiGo, and that complicates their position.

The tournament which pits the top four teams at the end of the league season is expected to begin on 24 August.
