| Achimota Golf Club organizes Monthly Medal competition |

The seventh Monthly Medal of the Achimota Golf Club tees off at its Club House on Saturday, July 12.
The week-end event which is being sponsored by Voltic Ghana Limited will tee off at 6.30 a.m and has handsome prizes at stake for both male and female winners as well as products of the sponsors.
Mr Kwabena Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club in a press release copied to the GNA Sports urged as many of the members to make it a point to participate in the event so as to beat the previous record attendance of 70 golfers.
The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition, which is open to amateur golfers in the Greater Accra Region, would be played in accordance with the governing rules of the Ghana Golf Association and the Club.
He invited other Golf Clubs such as the Tema, Celebrity, Bok Nam Kim and especially lady golfers to endeavour to participate in the event which is expected to be very exciting.
Meanwhile the annual Stanbic Invitational Tournament will also tee off on Saturday, July 26 at the Achimota Golf Course.
