| Tema Medal Golf tees off on June 28 |

The Tema Country Golf Club June Open Medal Championship tees off at Tema on Saturday, June 28.
Mr Ebenezer Adablanu General Manager of the Club, told GNA Sports at Tema on Wednesday, that about 100 golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Medal-Play competition which is open to Greater Accra Regional golf clubs.
He said the competition, which would be played under the rules of the Ghana Golf Association, has handicap 24 as the entry requirements.
Mr Adablanu said the management of the Club had put in place adequate measures to ensure that a keen and competitive competition was held.
Paul Owusu-Baah, Daniel List and Kweku Okyere, all of the Tema Country Golf Club had already registered for the competition which is being sponsored by the Tema Club.
There would be prizes for the 'Longest Drive mon Hole 18' and the 'Nearest to the Pin on Hole 17'.
Mrs. Y.O. Kim, President of the Tema Country Golf Club would present the trophy to the winner.
