Tafo Golf Club play host to Celebrity Golf Club at the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) Golf Course at Tafo in the Eastern Region on Saturday, June 21.
Dr Francis Oppong, Captain of the Tafo Golf Club who announced this in Accra on Monday, said the event is a return encounter between the two Clubs after their first encounter in October last year.
He said the event aims at strengthening the already existing cordial relationship between the two Clubs.
Dr Oppong said the management of the Tafo Golf Club had put in place adequate preparations to ensure his team wins the championship massively.
"We suffered humiliation at the hands of Celebrity and this time round we leave no stone unturned to ensure our victory come Saturday'', he said.
Joe Ohemeng would lead the Celebrity team which would include Abdul Aziz-Amankwa, Kwasi Opoku and Theophilus Asempa Prince Kofi Amoabeng, President of the Tafo Golf Club would present the trophy to the winners. Celebrity defeated Tafo by 70 points to 30 in their first encounter.
