The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association (GAABA) has lined-up six exhibition bouts for Friday, September 27 at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Accra to climax the official launch of the Azumah Nelson Foundation.

Gideon Quartey, Acting Chairman of GAABA told GNA Sports that the bouts to be contested by some of the best performers at the ongoing Regional Amateur Boxing League will treat patrons with some fine boxing artistry.

He singled out the Lightweight contest between Michael Offei Dodoo of Attoh Quarshie Gym and Emmanuel Mensah of Will Power Gym as a must-watch event.

In other bouts, Odoi Yemofio of De-Oak Gym will face Michael Ansah of Square Deal Gym also in the Lightweight division. In the Bantamweight category, Emmanuel Quartey of Fit Square Gym will battle Annan Ampiah of Attoh Quarshie Gym whilst Joshua Barnor of Panix Gym contends with Attoh Quarshie Gym's Isaac Sackey in the Featherweight division.

Hard-hitting Benjamin Lamptey of Will Power Gym will face Moses Dormenyo of Square Deal Gym in a Light welterweight clash whilst Habib Ahmed of Wisdom Gym comes up against Abraham Afful of Ashaiman Gym in the Welterweight division.

The Foundation is the brainchild of the former World Featherweight champion, "Professor" Azumah Nelson to support the needy and less endowed in the society.
